Eleanor Roosevelt said it best, No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.  If we give consent to being mistreated, taken advantage of, or taken for granted then why do we complain or remain somewhere that keeps us stuck?  What I know to be true is that life is too short to remain stuck in a life that doesn't allow you to live and love in total truth and authenticity. Read the featured quote and ask yourself...when will you actually wake up and decide that you don't ever want to feel like that anymore, or ever again and change?  When will you wake up and live the life that you pray for, dream of, or desire? If you have a job that consistently overlooks your loyalty and years of qualified service, when will you wake up and take the leap of faith to become the entrepreneur you dreamed of, when will you return to college to complete or earn the additional degree that you have put on hold for various reasons? When will you accept that your current situation is not meant for you to remain complacent but it's meant to change you for the better. When will you wake up and decide to end dead or toxic relationships that interfere with your peace and happiness, be it personal or professional. When will you wake up and realize that forgiveness was never for the other person to say I am sorry in return; forgiveness is what you do to rid yourself of carrying the weight of anger, bitterness, pain, and sorrow everywhere you go. My lifelovemarriagedivorce journey taught me that authenticity is life, real and honest communication is crucial, awareness and the acceptance of reality is strength, forgiveness of self and others is essential, and challenges pave the way for the desires of the heart. When I  think about my marriage, I am sure there was no premeditated intent to hurt. I am sure there was a desire to make it but does making it mean remaining in a relationship where you are afraid to be your true self, as some say-100. Does making it mean meeting everyone's needs & expectations by ignoring your own? Does making it mean the relationship is supposed to look good on the outside but messed up on the inside? As I reflect on my lifelovemarriagedivorce journey, I can honestly say that I am thankful for challenges that caused an awakening within my spirit to change for the better. (Side Bar motivation...To those who recently decided to change and not feel like that anymore...be thankful that you had the courage to wake up!  Stop comparing yourself to others. Stop concerning yourself with the comments people make when they know nothing about your journey.  Stop holding your head down because you made a decision to accept reality, make a change, and live! Hold your head up because you are following God's plan for your life and what God has planned for you is your blessing and it's not meant for everyone to understand! And you know what...9 times out of 10 people wish they had your strength, confidence, and boldness to make a change in their own life. Those who decide to make changes in their lives for the better are the wealthy ones because you can't put a price tag on peace! Happily live in change and pray for others to awaken and join you.) Back to the blog... There is a difference in saying, I trust you Lord and continuing to do it our way verses completely trusting The Lord and moving out of the way so that He can lead. When will you wake up and say Lord, I surrender & I trust you? When will you wake up and decide that you are worthy of the desires of your heart because God says so...“Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”( Psalm‬ ‭37:4‬) When will you wake up one day and decide not to feel like that anymore, or ever again and change, just like that?
